Getting Started
Q: From how many people can we start using the e-learning service?
A: You can start from just one learner. We will propose the most suitable Japanese learning materials and services according to the number of participants.
Q: How soon can we start using the system? / How long does it take to implement?
A: For on-demand videos, access can be provided as soon as the same day after your application. For lessons with instructors, we will arrange the schedule and inform you accordingly.
Q: Can this be used across multiple locations or by employees working in shifts?
A: Yes. Because the on-demand Japanese courses are available 24 hours a day, they can be used anytime, anywhere, regardless of location or shift schedule.
Q: Can we start with only a small group of employees as a trial?
A: Yes, you can start with a small number of employees or use it on a trial basis. We can issue free trial accounts, so please feel free to contact us.
Q: What kind of support do you provide? Can you support us even if we have no experience with Japanese language training?
A: Absolutely. Our dedicated staff will carefully support you throughout the implementation process, so even companies that are offering Japanese language training for the first time can use our services with confidence.
Learning Environment
Q: Are there any restrictions on viewing environment?
A: You can view the content with internet access and a PC, tablet, or smartphone.
Q: Can I watch on a smartphone or tablet?
A: Yes. As long as you have internet access, you can use any device including PC, smartphone, or tablet.
Q: Can I study using an app?
A: Yes. Apps can be used on smartphones and tablets.
Q: Can it be used outside of home or workplace?
A: Yes, it can be used anywhere with internet access.
Fees & Contracts
Q: Please tell me about the fee structure.
A: We provide estimates based on number of users and content. On-demand video materials start from 1,518 JPY (tax incl.) per person.
Q: Do you support invoice payment and corporate contracts?
A: Yes, we do. We can also issue invoices, estimates, delivery notes, and other documents.
Q: Is it subscription-based or one-time purchase?
A: On-demand video materials are subscription-based. Instructor-led lessons are on a one-time ticket system. It varies depending on number of learners and duration, so please consult us separately.
Q: If the number of employees increases or decreases, can the contract be changed?
A: Yes, it can. Please consult us anytime.

Q: Our foreign employees have different proficiency levels. Is that okay?
A: Yes. Courses are available by level, so learning can progress according to each learner’s understanding.
Q: Can we check progress management and learning records?
A: Yes, it is possible.
Q: Can training reports or certificates be issued?
A: Yes. If you have a specified format, please consult us.
Q: Can we switch to other materials or plans midway?
A: Yes, it is possible to change or add materials according to the situation. However, if new materials must be purchased, additional costs may apply.

A: Absolutely. We can flexibly adapt to your situation and learning needs, so please feel free to consult us.

On-Demand Materials
Q: What kind of content do the materials include?
A: We provide video courses for Japanese learning from beginner to advanced, JLPT prep, business Japanese, daily conversation, hiragana, katakana, and kanji. PDF textbooks and online tests are also available.

Q: What languages are supported?
A: In addition to Japanese, materials are available in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Burmese, Portuguese, Mongolian, Indonesian, Thai, Korean, Russian, Uzbek, Tagalog, and Spanish. We are also developing Nepali and Sinhala, with more languages to come.
Q: What format are the on-demand materials?
A: All materials are video-based and available online 24/7. Videos are short (5–10 minutes each), allowing learners to progress at their own pace. Printable PDF texts are available for review, and online tests and mock exams can be used to check comprehension.
Q: What Japanese levels are supported?
A: We cover a wide range from beginner to advanced, including JLPT (N5–N1), business Japanese, kanji study, and conversation practice.
Q: Can complete beginners use it?
A: Yes. To support absolute beginners, materials include subtitles in 13 languages and are structured for easy understanding.
Live Lessons with Japanese Instructors
Q: What kind of Japanese instructors do you have?
A: We have experienced Japanese instructors, located in various regions, accommodating international time zones.
Q: How are instructor-led lessons conducted?
A: Using online tools such as Zoom, lessons can be taken one-on-one or in groups.
Q: Are face-to-face lessons available?
A: Yes, in-person group training can also be arranged upon request.
Q: Do you use the same materials as the on-demand courses?
A: Basically yes, but customization is possible according to learner levels and goals. Lessons feature extensive practical exercises.
Q: Can we choose lesson times?
A: Yes. We will adjust schedules according to your preferred days and times. We can also accommodate shift work and flexible work arrangements.
After Implementation
Q: Getting Started, how can we track each learner’s study status?
A: You can check each learner’s study progress, test results, and more via a dedicated admin dashboard. Upon request, we can also provide monthly reports and share learning outcomes in review meetings.
Q: Even though we introduced the program, our non-Japanese employees are not studying. Do you offer any support to help them stay motivated?
A: At Attain, we provide the following support so that learners can continue studying Japanese alongside their daily work.
・Delivery of “Word of the Day”: As an email newsletter, we send a daily word or expression that can be used immediately. This helps learners come into contact with Japanese a little every day and is very well received.
・Ongoing learning support: Based on each learner’s progress, we provide individual support to those who need it. This may include personalized support such as assigning daily tasks and providing marking and feedback, as well as advice on building study habits. We flexibly tailor our support to the needs of each learner and company.

A: Yes, we can. We offer customized lessons by industry and job type, as well as intensive training in job-specific Japanese (phone calls, customer service, production lines, etc.). We listen carefully to your needs and propose content that is directly connected to actual duties.
Q: Getting Started, can we flexibly change the content or add learners?
A: Yes. We can adjust at any time to fit your situation, including adding more learners, changing classes, and reorganizing levels.
Q: Are there any issues regarding security or the handling of personal information?
A: We handle personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. Learning data is managed separately for each company and is never shared externally, so you can use our services with peace of mind.
Q: If our internal contact person changes, can the handover be done smoothly?
A: Each client company is assigned a dedicated account manager. We keep records of contract details, enrollment status, and customization history, so even if your internal contact changes, we support a smooth transition and ongoing operation.
Q: We would like to report the training results internally. Can you help us prepare the materials?
A: Yes. We can prepare materials that are easy to use for internal proposals and approval processes, such as learning outcome reports, improvement suggestions, and learner survey summaries.
